Jon T. Meyer

Jon was born in Melrose, Minnesota and attended Crosier Seminary Preparatory High School. He received a B.A. in political science and a minor in economics from the University of Minnesota, Morris campus. After six years as a financial planner with a major national financial advisory firm, Jon joined Boeckermann Grafstrom & Mayer Wealth Management, LLC as a partner in June 1999.
Today Jon is President of the Wealth Management firm handling day to day operations, coordination of all client issues, and long-term strategy. As the Investment Manager he is responsible for the individual client portfolios and is a member of the investment committee. When Jon joined the firm in 1999, he co-founded BGM Financial Resources, a sister company that provides insurance solutions. Jon is also a co-founder of Cornerstone Private Asset Trust Company, LLC, which provides trust services.
Jon is a member of the Financial Planning Association and former board member. He also attends weekly meetings of his Toastmasters club. Jon has been on KCCO 950 AM and has been quoted on practice management and financial planning issues in the Journal of Financial Planning, Financial Advisor, the Wall Street Journal and USA Today.
Outside of the financial world, Jon is married with four children. He enjoys golf, cooking, reading, travel and running. Running is so much fun for him that he has run three marathons.

Daniel A. Boeckermann
CPA, PFS, Chairman
Dan was born and raised in Melrose, Minnesota and graduated from Melrose High School in 1967. He attended Moorhead State University in Moorhead Minnesota where he graduated with a B.A. in Accounting in 1971. He received his Certified Public Accountants license in 1972 from the State of Minnesota. He became a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) in 1987. He passed his SEC Series 65 exam in 1996 and became a Registered Investment Advisor. He was one of the first twenty-five CPA’s in the nation to receive the PFS designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and received the third highest score in the nation on the 1987 PFS Examination.
Dan has extensive experience serving as an individual trustee for many types of trusts and as a personal representative for estates.
Dan worked for a local CPA firm in Moorhead, Minnesota from 1970 to 1972 when he and three other individuals co-founded Boeckermann, Fiebiger, Swanson & West in Moorhead, Minnesota in October 1972. In 1980 he moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to start a new office for the firm. In 1982 he co-founded the firm of Boeckermann Grafstrom & Mayer, P.A., Certified Public Accountants. In 1996, he co-founded Boeckermann Grafstrom & Mayer Wealth Management, LLC to provide investment advisory services to clients. In 1999, he co-founded BGM Financial Resources, LLC to assist clients with insurance needs. In 2000, Cornerstone Private Asset Trust Company, LLC was started to provide corporate trust services to clients. Boeckermann Grafstrom & Mayer and affiliated companies currently have 4 owners and in excess of 30 other personnel. Dan is Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the companies.
Dan served on the Riverside Bank Board of Directors from January 1995 to August 1999 when the bank was sold. During that time he was Chairman of the Audit Committee and the Funds Management Committees. He also served on the Executive Loan Committee. From September 1999 to September 2000, he was a member of the Associated Bank of Minnesota Board of Directors, Executive Loan Committee, Funds Management Committee and Audit Committee.
In November 2001, Dan co-founded Venture Bank where he serves on the Board of Directors and the Executive Loan Committee. He is also Chairman of the Board.
Dan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Personal Financial Planning Division and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Management Advisory Services Division. Dan is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Minnesota and North Dakota.
James Clemensen
Financial Planner
James joined Boeckermann, Grafstrom & Mayer Wealth Management in March 2009 as a Financial Planner. He has completed the Certified Financial Planner education requirement and is a Level II Chartered Financial Analyst candidate. James assists Jon on all financial planning and portfolio design. He is also a member of the investment committee.
James was born and raised in Minnesota and attended University of Minnesota Duluth, was a participant in the University of Minnesota Duluth Financial Markets Program and graduated with a BS degree in Finance. James now is a member of the MN Financial Planning Association and the CFA Society of Minnesota.
James stays busy planning a wedding with his fiancée Kristin, studying for the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and training in the martial arts discipline of Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Nancy Green
Client Services Manager
Nancy joined Boeckermann, Grafstrom & Mayer Wealth Management in December 2003 as a Client Support Specialist. She is a Certified Financial Paraplanner with over 15 years of back office operations and client service experience in the financial planning business. Nancy supervises all back office systems, account reconciliation, paperwork, asset transfers, monthly billing and handles client calls.
Nancy has spent most of her life in Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BS degree in Home Economics Education. After spending six years teaching in the Mounds View School District she decided to take advantage of an un-requested leave and experience the challenges of sailing and cooking on board several American Sail Training Association Tall Ships. She logged miles from Duluth Minnesota, through the Great Lakes and St. Laurence Sea Way, down the east coast and through the Gulf of Mexico to Galveston Texas.
After this experience Nancy looked to the calmer pursuit of a career in the financial planning business. She continues to enjoy cooking and has collaborated on a locally published cookbook on combining natural foods and the Zone Diet. Her latest interest is minimalist gardening, trying to plant a garden with the least amount of work.
Tara Kingsley
Administrative Assistant
Tara joined Boeckermann, Grafstrom & Mayer Wealth Management in January, 2009 as an Administrative Assistant. She brings with her over 27 years experience in Administrative Support/Customer Service. Tara coordinates scheduling of meetings, asset transfer requests, account paperwork, and helps with the preparation of the monthly newsletter.
Tara worked as a Customer Service Supervisor for Northwest Airlines for ten years, and enjoys reflecting on her many encounters with celebrities! If you need travel advice, just give her a call.
Tara grew up in Bloomington, Apple Valley and Bemidji, Minnesota, but she calls Virginia/Mt. Iron, Minnesota home.
Tara’s interests are many – she considers herself a “media sponge,” making her a great partner in trivia games. If the career at Northwest Airlines had not come around when it did, she would have looked into a career working behind-the-scenes in television production.
Tara enjoys movies, fantasy football, Vikings, Twins, Roseau Rams High School Hockey and traveling. She lives with her Jack Russell Terrier, Chloe.
